Hello,

I am Evangelia Mitsopoulou,

the founder behind Evangelia and Philomath Academy. With 18 years in the industry, I combine deep technical expertise with a passion for instructional design.
I’ve had the opportunity to work on some exciting projects throughout my career. I led the frontend development for an innovative AI platform at Modulos - an ETH spin-off startup, implemented IAM features for Elastic Cloud, and built a full-stack mobile app for NATO training school. I also developed the frontend for an LMS used by Swiss banks, created a mobile photo editor progressive web app, and even contributed scripts for Google Assistant.
As a key contributor to the mEducator Schema, with datasets published on the Linked Open Data Cloud, I bring expertise to enrich our platform by integrating educational resources from various systems and delivering personalized learning through AI.
My passion for learning and sharing knowledge has empowered me to live a richer life. I have traveled the world, embraced different cultures and experienced life in England, Switzerland and Greece. Inspired by the mentorship I received early in my career, I’m committed to sharing that same guidance and knowledge to support others in their own journeys.
Our Philomath Academy focuses specifically on coding education. It is part of a broader brand that addresses diverse needs, including sustainable well-being, life coaching for expats, and creative writing for societal and mental health issues.
